What is Data?.
Data is raw, unorganized facts that need to be processed. Data can be something simple and seemingly random and useless until it is organized. Data is also information. In below picture there are some symbols,letters which are unorganized. we are unable to process that kind of data.Fig no.1. Raw Data
What is Information?.
When data is processed, organized, structured or presented in a given context so as to make it useful, it is called information.Data is information processed or stored by a computer. This information may be in the form of text documents, images, audio clips, software programs, or other types of data. Below picture represents information of students in a college.

Database:
A database is collection of data or information that is organized so that it can easily be accessed, managed, and updated.
Database Management System (DBMS):
A database management system (DBMS) is a software or collection of programs that enables you to store, modify, and extract information from a database.
The DBMS provides users and programmers with a systematic way to create, retrieve, update and manage data.
