Who is owner of Internet
Internet is collection of networks
that connects computers across the world.Who owns the Internet? The
answer is no one and everyone. No one
actually owns the Internet, and no single person or organization controls the
Internet in its entirety.
Why we pay for Internet
The Internet isn't owned by anyone, it’s not controlled
by any single organization either.
There are three types of companies Tier-1,
Tier-2, Tier-3. Tier -1 companies
provide cables (Fiber Optic or other cables) throughout worldwide to connect
networks. Tier-2 companies
provide cables within a country or some region. Tier-3 companies provide cables with in a city these are ISP
Internet Service Providers, we actually pay to these companies. We pay for the
ISO who keep all that running well, the cable installers who fix the cables
when they break and maintain hardware.
We first pay tier -3 companies for using
internet. After that tier-3 pays to tier 2 companies for using their cables
then tier-2 companies pay to tier 1 for using their cables.
